I am a passionate sports journalist who has been fortunate enough to have travelled the world. From an Aussie Rules clash at the MCG in Australia to Championship boxing in Belfast, I have been anywhere and everywhere - the highlight being a trip to the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
I grew up in the Essex countryside where I played cricket for my local village side before embarking on a three-year spell in Liverpool where I studied at Liverpool John Moores University.
A brief spell in Belfast was followed by two years living and working in London for the BBC.
In 2010 I returned to Northern Ireland to complete an MA in Journalism at the University of Ulster Coleraine and now I am back in Belfast, freelancing for numerous media outlets and covering a host of sports from football to roller-blading!
